CLEANING
It is a procedure that is performed with the help of a scaller (intraoral ultrasound) to remove calculus or calcified plaque from the teeth. It is performed in a single section accompanied by dental prophylaxis, which is the polishing of the tooth surfaces with prophylactic paste to restore the smooth surface of the tooth and prevent plaque buildup.
Cleanings remove all tartar, food and chemical stains from your teeth. They should be done at least once a year and are the basis for preventing all oral problems in patients.

When to have a cleaning done?
- Minimum once a year
- When there is spontaneous bleeding or when brushing the gums
- When you notice plump or reddish gums
- When you see black or brown areas (calculus) stuck to your teeth
- When you have problems with bad breath or taste in your mouth

ENDODONTICS
ROOT CANAL
Endodontics is the specialty of dentistry that is responsible for resolving all diseases that have to do with the pulp, which is the internal tissue of the tooth where the dental nerve is housed. When the nerve of the tooth is diseased or dead, it must be removed and that cavity cleaned, then sealed with a special plastic material. This process must be carried out to eliminate pain and to allow the tooth to be restored and not lose it.
PROSTHESIS
Dental prostheses are the replacement of lost teeth in a fixed or removable way (removal and insertion). It is essential for a human being to have good chewing function that allows them to have adequate digestive processes, which is why it is necessary to have all the teeth in the mouth. When a tooth is lost, its immediate replacement is appropriate, since the partial or total absence of the tooth causes serious problems in digestion, facial aesthetics, speech, and patient safety.

At DSmile we have a wide variety of alternatives for replacing lost or missing teeth, among which you will find:
- Removable prostheses (replacement of some teeth) with metal or flexible base
- High-impact total prostheses (highly fracture-resistant material)
- Prostheses on implants removable prostheses that are adjusted to implants to prevent them from moving or coming out of the mouth)
- Fixed Prostheses (fixed teeth on implants or teeth)
- Temporary prosthetics (temporary replacement for surgery or other procedures)
